Using Thatcher’s cider as a case study - students must conduct a full financial analysis of the company by calculating ratios, percentage increases and also using Excel to plot several financial growth indicators. A guided worksheet and set of company accounts are attached. My BTEC students we able to incorporate this straight into their coursework.

These personal learning checklists are a brilliant resource for helping student’s structure their revision. My students use them to revise for unit assessments/end of year exams and also for identifying weaknesses in their subject knowledge.
